As we enter National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, the sobering statistics cannot be ignored: 1 in 3 women in the United States will be assaulted by their partner, and a little less than 40% of women actively seek help in domestic violence situations. Shockingly, in the US, a woman is assaulted every 9 seconds. These numbers underscore the urgency of Circle of Love’s mission and the necessity of their “Healing Hearts. Circle of Love Center hosted their 7th Annual Golf Tournament on September 13, 2021 at the beautiful Harbor Club on Lake Oconee.
