Jennifer:

Jennifer Amaya’s journey has taken her from Air Force bases to New York City and eventually to Georgia, where she and her family found their home. She earned a degree in Exercise Science from Christopher Newport University, where she played soccer, before pursuing a degree in Fine Jewelry from the Fashion Institute of Technology. 

Jennifer met her husband, known as “The Chef,” in New York, and their shared love of food and the restaurant industry eventually led them to start their own business. After a challenging experience working at a local restaurant in Georgia, a friend encouraged them to take a chance on themselves. That advice led to the creation of The Chef and The Wife, and they haven’t looked back since! 

Now a proud mom of four, Jennifer is excited to take the dance floor for Dancing with the Lake Oconee Stars and support Circle of Love’s mission to help survivors of domestic violence and their families.
