Brittany:

Brittany Wisner is a first-grade teacher and cheer coach at Lake Oconee Academy who loves being involved in her community and working with children of all ages. She moved to the Lake Oconee area in 2018 with her husband, Cody, and their two children, Grady and Maggie. Together, they enjoy life on their small family farm, where they raise chickens and grow vegetables for their family.

A lifelong cheerleader, Brittany has always loved dancing and considers it one of her favorite hobbies, even without formal dance training. Between teaching, coaching, and keeping up with her family’s busy schedule, she stays on the go and loves every minute of being part of the Lake Country community.

Brittany is excited to step outside her comfort zone, take the dance floor, and support Circle of Love through this special event!

Sheriff Donnie

Sheriff Donnie Harrison has called Greene County home since 1988 and has dedicated much of his career to serving his community. After eight years of service in the United States Army as a Military Policeman, he joined the Greene County Sheriff’s Office in 1997, serving in several roles before being sworn in as Interim Sheriff in 2016. He was elected Sheriff later that year and continues to serve the people of Greene County with pride.

Throughout his career, Sheriff Harrison has completed extensive law enforcement training and leadership programs, including the Georgia Sheriff’s Elect Academy and the National Sheriff’s Institute. His years of military and law enforcement service reflect his longstanding commitment to protecting and supporting his community.

Now, Sheriff Harrison is trading his day-to-day duties for dancing shoes as he joins Dancing with the Lake Oconee Stars in support of Circle of Love. He considers it a true honor to serve Greene County and is excited to be part of an event that brings the community together for such an important cause.
