Skye:

Skye Gess serves as the Solicitor-General for Baldwin County, bringing years of courtroom experience and a strong commitment to serving her community. Before being appointed by Governor Nathan Deal in 2018, she served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor cases. Throughout her career, Skye has remained passionate about outreach and education, developing initiatives focused on teen dating violence awareness and creating opportunities to empower local youth and families. 

Outside of her work, Skye enjoys life on the family cattle ranch she and her husband, Josh, started in 2013. The couple raises more than 400 head of cattle, and Skye especially enjoys spoiling a few of her favorite cows with special treats. She and Josh also love spending time on Lake Sinclair with their dog, Lucy, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs during football season, and staying active in their church community. 

Skye is excited to take the dance floor in support of Circle of Love, helping raise awareness about domestic violence and support the organization’s mission to serve survivors and their families. 

Jeremiah:

Jeremiah Sterling Hall is a devoted man of faith, dedicated public servant, and passionate advocate for his community. Guided by his commitment to faith, family, leadership, and hard work, Jeremiah serves others through ministry, civic leadership, music, and agriculture. He is a graduate of Georgia Military College, where he earned degrees in Operations Management and Supply Chain Management and Logistics. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Project Management at Strayer University. 

Jeremiah serves as Pastor of St. Phillips African Methodist Episcopal Church in Toomsboro and Minister of Music at Jones Chapel AME Church. He also serves as the District 1 County Commissioner for Hancock County, advocating for progress and the well-being of local residents. Beyond ministry and public service, Jeremiah is the Ranch Manager of DeChron Farm and Cattle Company, a family-owned cattle operation in Sparta, Georgia, where he supports responsible land stewardship and agricultural traditions. 

Jeremiah is excited to bring his passion for leadership and community to Dancing with the Lake Oconee Stars while supporting Circle of Love and its mission to serve survivors of domestic violence and their families.
